“Hey, come here. I want to take a picture of you.”
“Why?”
“Because I want to take a picture of your hair.”
“My haaaair?”
“Yes, your new haircut. Why are you making that face at me? Come here and let me see your hair.”
“That’s not what I meant.”
“But you asked to see my hair!”
“Not the back of your hair. Who cares about the back of your hair? No, really now. Cooperate.”
“Seriously? Are you serious right now? Just stop being a goofball for two seconds, look at me, give me a normal smile, and let me take a picture.”
“THANK YOU.”
“You’re welcome.”
“Yes, Sam. What do you need?”
“Ikshu.”
“Oh, sure, baby, I’ll take a picture of your new haircut, too.”
“CEEEEESSSE”
“Well, that’s just about perfect if you plan to try out for a Junior Newscaster position. Do you plan to be a newscaster, Sam?”
“No! MAMA!
“You know, you two are so lucky that you always redeem yourself in the end. Really, really lucky.”
[Personal aside to Annika: Sam loves that shirt. No, really, he LOVES that shirt. Thank you!]
Man they’re cute. I have to say, I actually love her goofball face, totally made me smile!
A photo of Sam in the dinosaur shirt first thing in the morning = a good day!
I have 3 other dinosaur stencils as well!
Your kids look so! much! like your husband. It is uncanny.
Honestly, our kids are like a Rorschach test. Whether you think they look like me or like him tells us something about your personality. (We’re not sure what, but definitely something.)
Personally I think they look like the best of both of you.
Ha, I was about to write, “Your kids look so much like you! It’s uncanny!” and then I saw Misty’s comment.
And subsequently realized how right I was and retracted your fallacitical statement. Yes?
Uh, err, um.
I think they are a PERFECT BLEND of both great parents…….
I was about to agree with Reading (and chickens), and then read the comment stream. When you figure out what that says about us, let us know. I’m curious now!
LOL. This family is too much!!
